Shoya

Shoya is a fast-paced, tug of war card game set in feudal Japan. As a Shoya (Village Leader), your job is to maintain balance by enlisting powerful Samurai, traveling Ronin and hidden Ninja. Protect your farmers at all costs from the Dragon and other threats!

Each round players will play one card at a time until they have played all cards in their hand. Players win by playing farmers to their village for points and being the first to score 7. Bandits allow you to steal farmers while samurai protect farmers. Spice it up with 3-4 of the 12 star cards that contain special abilities to create new encounters each game.

Time: 10-25 minutes

Ages: 7+

Game Contents: 15 core cards, 12 special star cards,  5 turn reference cards, 1 rulebook and 40 rice tokens.
